Plant Pathologists, from all educational levels, are able to seek employment in a variety areas. Some examples include college and universities; biotechnology companies; state and federal agencies; international agricultural research centers; nurseries, greenhouses and garden centers; non-governmental organizations; golf courses, public parks and landscape maintenance companies; diagnostic laboratories; seed, plant production and tissue culture companies; and in a variety of private consulting firms.
